Brainerd Catholic is hosting its first annual Run for the Son: Faithful 5k and 10k. Join us together as a family in faith for these professionally timed races incorporating the scenic Buffalo Hills Park trails beginning at 8:30 am on Saturday, September 27th at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Brainerd, MN.

Not a runner? You can choose to walk or simply come support your fellow Christians as we come together for a morning of fun.

As part of our diocesan-wide appeal to spread the message of healing, hope, and joy in Jesus within our mission field, this running event is an opportunity to connect and build up Christians throughout the community.

Food and beverages will be available by our local Knights of Columbus group and St. Francis of the Lakes Catholic School. There will also be a youth 100 yard "Disciple Dash" for kids.

Racer Swag
All participants registered by September 12th will be guaranteed a shirt. After this date you will nog be guaranteed a shirt. 

10k and 5k participants will receive a bella canvas shirt. Disciple Dash shirts are cotton.

There will be 6 heats offered for the 100 yard dash, groups will be determined on grade levels. 1st-6th grade will "dash" starting at 9:15 am. This will take place in the lawn near the finish line. 

Fundraise for the Cause
After you register, you will be given the option to create your own fundraising page. With this page you will have a personal link that you can share with friends and family. Share the message of why this race and organization are important to you and raisesome additonal monies towards your favorite cause.
