  • Full Grave: $700

  • Please call the Parish Office at 218-829-1340 and speak to the Cemetery Coordinator. Persons desiring to purchase lots will visit the cemetery and management will aid them in making a selection. Appropriate paperwork will be completed with the Parish Office

St. Thomas of the Pines Cemetery

Located next to St. Thomas of the Pines Chapel in East Gull Lake.

  • Cremation
    Cremated remains may be buried or placed into a Columbarium niche. The niche may be single or double occupancy.
    ·     Columbarium Niche: $700
    · Niche is large enough for 2 cremated remains
    · Cost of Opening Niche for the 2nd Burial is $100
    · Family pays for etching on the Niche

    Traditional In-Ground Burial
    Single plots are 5x10 feet. Vaults are required and only flat head-stones allowed.
    ·     Traditional Full Grave: $600
    ·     Family pays for vault, expense to open the grave (approximately $600), and the cost of the headstone

Cemetery Rules and Regulations

For the mutual protection of lot owners and the cemeteries as a whole, the following rules and regulations have been adopted by the St. Mathias and St. Thomas of the Pines Catholic Cemeteries

General Cemetery Rules

  • The Cemeteries are open during daylight hours. (No visitation after dark.)

  • Smoking is not permitted.

  • Please do not drive or park vehicles on the grassed areas of the cemeteries.

  • Please do not allow children to play on gravestones.

  • No dogs (with the exception of guide dogs) or other pets are allowed in the cemetery.

  • Please stay on walk ways/roads/aisles in respect for the deceased.

  • Persons visiting the cemeteries or attending funerals are prohibited from picking flowers, wild or cultivated, breaking or injuring any tree, shrub or plant, and from writing upon, defacing or injuring any memorials, fence, or other structures within the cemetery grounds.

Lot Owner Duties

  • Responsibility of Notification of change of personal or next of kin address.

  • Maintenance of live or artificial flowers in an attractive manner or they will be removed.
