Faith Forward: Stewardship and Ministry

Faith Forward: A St. Andrew’s Stewardship Initiative

"It's a very beautiful gift of God and a source of great joy to be able to participate in His work which is our very own work. By bringing what we have, we participate in the work of Jesus. That's why ministry becomes the work of Jesus, not just our work."
Where is God calling us to serve? Spend some time this week recognizing the graces God has given you and the gifts you can share with others.

It’s a beautiful gift of God and a source of great joy to be able to participate in his works with our own. Even the seemingly insignificant things of life, washing the dishes or doing our other daily tasks, can take on a new meaning. Still more does it take on meaning when we carry out the works of mercy, when we forgive someone who has wronged us or care for someone in need or when we console someone who is in sorrow or doubt or pay attention to someone lonely and forgotten.
