Lent 2024 Schedule

Lent 2024

As we begin our Lenten season, we are encouraged to take up some form of prayer, fasting, or alms giving. There are several opportunities within our community such as contributing to the rice bowls, Brainerd Catholic Food Packing, volunteering at the homeless shelter, soup kitchen or Meals on Wheels programs.

Lent is a time to reflect on our faith and spirituality, and our community is excited to provide a variety of opportunities to help you do just that. Take part in our Fish Fries every Friday, Soup Supper, 40 Hours Devotion, Stations of The Cross, 40 Days of Perpetual Adoration, and extra reconciliation services.

For those seeking a more contemplative experience, we offer 40 Hours Devotion, where we spend 40 hours in prayer and reflection. Stations of the Cross is a powerful way to connect with the suffering of Christ and meditate on his sacrifice. And for those who prefer to spend time in quiet reflection, we offer 40 Days of Perpetual Adoration.

We also recognize that Lent is a time for repentance and forgiveness, which is why we offer extra reconciliation services during this season. This is a chance to seek forgiveness for our sins and make a fresh start.
