Gather Around Mary Registration is open!

“Gather Around Mary” is a four session class offered by Dcn. Jerry. The class will be a reasonably in-depth study into the events, culture, theological ideas and controversies of the times which prompted the promulgation of each of the four Marian dogmas (Perpetual Virginity, Mother of God, Immaculate Conception, Assumption). Each dogma will be examined in light of Sacred Scripture including problematic language or translation, the thought of the Early Fathers who were either for or against the dogma, the declarations of the General Council of the Church which may have addressed the dogma, the expression of the dogma found in the catechism and the thought of St. John Paul II.

The classes will take place on Mondays beginning October 16th and will be offered at 930AM at St. Francis and again in the evening at All Saints at 630PM. To encourage dialogue on each topic and foster a good learning environment, enrollment will be limited to 15 people per class. Please complete the registration form below to register.
