About Judy:

I am a mother of 3 children and grandmother of 9 grandchildren, ages 15 to 29 and 2 great grandchildren. Our oldest son practices law in Denver, our daughter is a stay-at-home mother of seven and our youngest son is a Catholic Bishop.  All three children are active in serving their communities. Jack and I have been active in Serra, our parish, political causes, pro-life work and Net Ministries for many years.  As Net volunteers we did dishes for the Net Ministries training one month a year from 2000 to 2017.

I was a teacher in grades K-12 in Jefferson County, Colorado.  I received the Governor's Award for Excellence and was a finalist for Colorado Teacher of the Year.  I directed the writing of 15 books including Kids Explore America's Catholic Heritage and Teen Prayers by Teens published by Pauline Media of Boston.  The profit from the two Catholic books has raised thousands of dollars for Catholic Schools and Net Ministries.  I have been very active in Serra, a vocation ministry, serving as President of the U.S. Council of Serra, providing resources and training parish vocation ministries and was instrumental in the development of Newman Connect, a program that connects young Catholics with their campus ministries in college.

As a grandparent, I believe we must take an active part on passing the faith on to our grandchildren.
