    Volunteers fulfill monthly or daily scheduling for distributing Holy Communion at Mass, to the home bound and those in residences for the elderly. Volunteers may be scheduled two to three times per month.

    Come adore Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. Adorers commit to one specific hour per week of adoration in the adoration chapel located at St. Andrew's Church or at First Friday Eucharistic Adoration at St. Francis and All Saints. Substitute adorers are also needed.

    Open to men of all Brainerd parishes. Their goal is to deepen their faith lives through prayer and study of the Catholic faith.

    Altar Servers: Youth and adult servers learn the meaning and procedure for the celebration of Mass. Servers may serve at daily Masses, weekend Masses, Holy Days and funerals. Servers are scheduled two to three times per month.

    Church Environment: Our goal is to enhance the beauty of the church according to the liturgical season. Volunteers assist with decorating during different liturgical and holiday seasons. Volunteers also change the banners according to the liturgical Seasons of the Church and to also care for plants and flowers.

    Greeters: Volunteers welcome all who gather to worship, in the same spirit that we welcome family and friends to our homes. Volunteers may be scheduled one to two times per quarter.

    Lectors: The lector reads from the ambo the readings that precede the Gospel and when a Deacon is not present, the petitions. Scheduled once or twice a month according to your availability.

    Sacristan: Volunteers prepare the sacred vessels, liturgical books and sanctuary for the celebration of Mass. Care for linens and wash and store the vessels after Mass.

    Ushers: To welcome those attending Mass and other liturgies. Greet and seat attendees, collect and secure the Mass offering, and take the attendance.

    Volunteers lead the congregation in participation in the liturgy with vocal and instrumental music; encourages and fosters the gift of song within each of God's holy people in singing the various parts of the Mass. Musicians and singers learn and rehearse music in advance of liturgies, and set up music equipment if needed.

    The Secular Franciscan Order (OFS) is a branch of the worldwide Franciscan Family. The SFO is a secular movement, established by St. Francis of Assisi more than 800 years ago with the purpose to bring the gospel to life where we live and where we work. A period of formation and attendance at monthly fraternity as well as involvement in apostolic ministries.

Education

    To support parents in the faith formation of their children through classroom catechesis (1st-5th grades) and parent/child catechesis (preschool & kindergarten). The goal is for children to develop an understanding of Sacred Scriptures and Tradition that will deepen their spiritual life and help them grow in their relationship with God. Volunteers are needed to teach/lead a specific grade or age by using an already planned curriculum.

    Discipleship Leaders develop a mentoring relationship with the students to help lead them through their journey of faith. Leaders direct the conversation using questions and other methods to get the students talking and asking questions about their faith. We meet during the school year and work in small groups of 6-10 students with 1-2 adult leaders.

    The goal of this ministry is to help foster a relationship with Jesus and His Church with our teens as well as help prepare them to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Each adult leader has a small group ranging from 6-10 teens. (They watch a DVD series and facilitate, with educational workbooks, small group discussions.

    FUSE is formation for any adult in the Brainerd Lakes area - from the person who wished to potentially enter the Church to the "Cradle Catholic" who desires to dive deeper into the faith and learn more about what our faith really means. FUSE is engaging, truthful, exciting, and at times even surprising!

    Gospel Around the Grill happens every Wednesday in August. We gather at the All Saints pavilion for food, fun and a stimulating talk by our clergy. Volunteers are needed to set up tables and chairs and clean up afterwards.

    Sisters in Christ is a women’s formation ministry focused on leading women to an intentional response to their call to holiness by teaching them how to live out their identity in Christ. Women who support one another in their pursuit of holiness.

    Volunteers provide luncheon options for the grieving family. The St. Francis CCW supports this ministry and All Saints has a funeral luncheon team.

    A small group takes care of the Mary Garden, outside gardens at the church and parish house. They weed, water, transplant, and beautify the surroundings. They meet in spring and fall to plan, enjoy hospitality, and have a patron saint - St. Phocas of Sinope.

    The Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity program helps families build strength, security and stability though shelter. Families in need partner with Habitat to build simple, decent homes to own. We welcome anyone for any amount of time.

    A group of young people have put together a babysitter club to meet new families and help those with young children. They will be hosting "parent's night out" events at the church, offering drop-off babysitting services for young children.

    The Mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is to be a network of friends, inspired by Gospel values providing assistance to neighbors in need at the local level; needs that range from help with utility bills and rent, to tires for a vehicle.

    The soup kitchen feeds community members who are in need. Volunteers cook a full three course meal including beverage and dessert. Volunteers from our parishes plan, make, serve and clean up after an evening meal - generally on the 4th Saturday of each month.

    The Bridge on 7th is a low-barrier warming shelter providing a safe place to sleep for individuals 18+ who are experiencing homelessness in the Brainerd Lakes Area. There are various ways to support this effort - monetary gifts, volunteering onsite or donating supplies.

    The BeFrienders ministry includes all the Brainerd Catholic Churches. Who would make a good candidate? A man or woman who is a good listener, who can accept others as they are without trying to fix them and is able to admit that they too need support from others at times. Prayer is important in the BeFriender's life.

    Birthright is a pregnancy support service offering practical assistance, resources and moral support to pregnant women and extended help to mothers of babies and young children. All office volunteers are offered training.

    Open to all recent High School grads and college students. This group provides the opportunity to gather together in a fun and uplifting environment, while supporting each other, as they continue to grow and in faith. The group is rooted in the Word of God, and based on the four pillars of Prayer, Plan, Play and Study.

    Assist with the preparation, organization and distribution of "Angel Tags" received from the Salvation Army for children who are in need throughout the Brainerd area. Tags are taken by parishioners who purchase the gifts for the children. This ministry tracks the tags and gifts returned to the churches, shops for any tags that were not taken, and transports the gifts to the Salvation Army.

    The mission of the All Saints Graduate Outreach Ministry is to encourage our new graduates to continue their faith journey beyond high school. New graduates receive a blessing at our annual graduation mass, individual prayer intentions and care packages throughout their first year after graduation to support them on their faith journey.

    The CCW acts through its membership to support, empower and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership and service. The CCW services the needs of the parish and priest, including involvement in spiritual activities, bazaars, funerals. Most guilds meet once a month. You can be involved as much or as little as fits your schedule.

    Provides strong catholic based bible studies and fellowship programs with the group home facilities- faith is experienced in a way suited to the needs of the person.
