Rebecca Ann Houle

Rebecca Ann Blume Houle, age 85, of Baxter, MN, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025. She was born July 22, 1940, in Staples, MN, to Ralph and Lillian Blume. She married Robert C. Houle on April 20, 1963, and together they raised five children in Wadena and Brainerd/Baxter.  Becky worked as a secretary and volunteered for many years at St. Francis Catholic Church, where she enjoyed decorating the church and guiding wedding rehearsals.

She is survived by her husband Robert; children Timothy (Jeanette), Steven, Jeffrey (KaSandra), Ann (Chad) Stenglein, and Mary (John) Clifford; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gene and Jerry (infant) Blume and several in-laws and nephews.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 1 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Brainerd. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. with a Rosary at 9:45 a.m. Interment at Baxter Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Francis Church, 404 N. Ninth Street, Brainerd, MN 56401.
